The game

Top or Slop is a free game run by the operator named in the legal notice. You swipe landing pages, submit your own and see what strangers think. You need to be at least 16 to use it. There's no right to have a page listed or ranked, and we may change or stop the game at any time.

Votes are opinions

A TOP or SLOP vote and the reasons people pick are personal impressions of a first screen. They are not statements of fact about a product, a company or the people behind it, and we don't adopt them as our own.

Submitting a page

• Only submit public landing pages. No adult content, hate or violence, scams or phishing, gambling, or anything illegal.
• Only add texts and maker profiles you're allowed to use, and only your own profiles.
• Only put a page in the Hall of Slop if it's yours; it shows there only once you've verified the domain.
• You confirm that the page and your texts don't infringe anyone's rights. You allow us to show the screenshots, the page's name and your texts on Top or Slop and on its share cards for as long as the page is listed. You can remove your page at any time with your private manage link.

Fair play

One person, one vote. Don't use bots or scripts, don't vote from many devices for or against a page, and don't trade votes. We discount votes that look automated or one-sided and may exclude devices and pages that manipulate the results.

How we moderate

Every submitted page and every owner text change goes through an automated safety check (an AI model) for the categories above. Pages that fail it aren't listed; the reason shows on the page's result and manage page. Several reports from regular players hide a page until we've looked at it. We can remove pages and block domains that break these rules or the law, and we tell the submitter why on the page's manage page. If you think we decided wrongly, write to hello@toporslop.app within six months; a person will review it.

Liability

The game is free and offered as it is. We're liable without limit for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we're only liable for breach of essential obligations, limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Liability under the Product Liability Act stays unaffected.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. German law applies, unless the law of your country protects you more as a consumer.
